This is the Academic Theme. A pseudo-baroque piece.
For the technically minded, the foundation parts were programmed into a Roland analogue sequencer (MicroComposer MC-4) driving four RSF Kobol analogue synthesizers. This foundation was augmented by ARP 2600 and Solina syntheziers together with samples from an Emu Systems Emulator 1 . The vocal textures were generated using a Roland vocoder VP-330. The score was recorded in David's studio using an MCI console and 24 track machine.
